The trial lawyer guy who wants to run against Cornyn got himself a Selby profile in the Statesman.
"I am incredibly worried about this war," Watts said last week. "I have no faith that John Cornyn is going to take one step to bring our men and women home."
Fascinating message, that one.

Mikal Watts has been well-known in Dem circles for a while. And he's THE young trial lawyer in a state known for its trial lawyers.
He's talented, can form a very good argument and loaded. He'd be a very interesting candidate for us Dems.
What I find extremely interesting in that entire article is the frame Cornyn is already needing to use- his independence from Bush.
The phrase, "I've agreed with him when I think he's right. And I've disagreed with him when I think he's wrong." is directly from the talking points of a WD-40 in very Red territory.
