Bell hires Maxey:

Maxey recently ran for chairman of the Texas Democratic Party, but attorney Boyd Richie prevailed at the party's convention. In the last presidential election campaign, Maxey led candidate Howard Dean's Texas effort. Pick up a field director and try to help heal any divisions in the party since Bell endorsed Richie for party chair.
