Republicans should think long and hard about this

Republicans lose control of Congress, and the markets react by...reacting enthusiastically.

The 'phants in Congress should do some serious thinking about that one.

Probably because the market is betting on the fact that nothing will get accomplished for two years.

They'd be wrong, because Bush is going to sign the minimum wage increase and "comprehensive" (read: expensive and useless) border security if it crosses his desk.

Should read "immigration policy" not "border security" obviously.
