Exit polls

I was probably the only Republican who wasn't worried at all on election day in 2004. I just never thought there was even a chance that the exit polls were near correct. I really was never too worried that W would be re-elected in the run-up to the election either. So I ignored the exit polls.

I agree a little bit with Bob Novak:

Enormous Republican efforts to encourage early and absentee voting could dramatically skew exit polls. Do not be surprised if the apparent results Tuesday night are overturned by Wednesday morning in several close House races.
I agree more on the first sentence than the second.
