Obviously he is getting away with it, unfortunately. I don't live in Houston so didn't see the Chronicle story. Nothing in the Austin paper or elsewhere of which I am aware. TV is much more a source of voter info and he is blasting away with his anti-Cruz attacks.

The Chronicle story is from 15 years ago. Unfortunately none of the Texas media is doing its job.

Apparently Gov. Goodhair is attacking Dewhurst for encouraging a business deal in China's burgeoning economy that would provide millions in equipment sales and consulting fees for American companies. That's pretty weak and far from damning.
