Chris Bell is running for governor

I know, I know, it's a shock, isn't it? Chris Bell is officially running for governor.

He'll officially announce August 14th in Austin.

The mandate rolls on.

It is truly sad how this man is pursuing his dying political career to such foolish lengths. His wife has cancer and he is now subjecting his family to a gubernatorial run on top of that.

The man can't even out-raise Kinky Friedman.

Is this situation too morose to be funny? I guess that depends on your sense of humor. I personally think it is all a little sad.
