KBH emails her supporters
Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison emailed her supporters and said she was "disappointed" in the legislative session, but would wait until "the entire legislative process is concluded" to announce her decision. Given that, it doesn't appear that the June 6th announcement is correct. So much for the anonymous source close to KBH's camp.
Perry can sign and veto bills until June 19, which appears to be what KBH means by the legislative process.
According to Hutchison spokesman David Beckwith, the email was "to counter the rumor mill and to assure supporters that she's on her well-defined path in announcing a decision."

It only makes sense for her to wait until the end of the entire political process. Anything that may be vetoed or signed into law for that matter, can potentially be more ammo for KBH. Besides, a last minute legislative manuver by the Gov. after a hypothetical announcement to run by KBH can certainly take some wind out of KBH's political moves.
Campaign personel already stated last month KBH's desire to wait till the end of June for an announcement. The question then becomes how long is too long? Keep in mind she is more than likely still enveloped in the process of seeking support. Unless something drastic happens, it is my gut instict that some support is evaporating because of KBH's attempt to cross the GOP and potentially shaking up everything the party has built over 20 years.
